I and my professional collaborators draw a clear distinction between advisory and coaching, even though the two are closely connected.

Coaching is a structured, collaborative process centred on personal growth and theme‑specific performance. While it shares elements with solution‑focused brief coaching and therapy, my approach is grounded in partnership—co‑framing challenges, exploring solution pathways, and shaping decisions that enable sustainable behavioural change and enhancement. I work from the belief that every client is inherently resourceful and, with the right guidance, fully capable of crafting their own path forward.

Coaching engagements foster connection, accountability, and mutual respect, typically within a medium‑term time frame. Areas of focus are mutually defined and often include personal development, performance, anxiety and addiction management, trauma recovery, healthy ageing, weight management, and cardiovascular or cognitive wellness. This work is supported through self‑directed learning and mastery, and through strengthening physical and mental resilience, self‑care, and self‑compassion.

Advisory services are more targeted and project‑bound. In this mode, I bring specialised expertise, knowledge, networks, and evidence‑based recommendations to help individuals or organisations make informed, context‑appropriate decisions and judgments. Advisory engagements typically address specific challenges or decision architectures rather than ongoing personal development.

Across both advisory and coaching roles, I prioritise collaboration. With client consent, I partner with other specialists—clinical, technical, or subject‑matter experts—when and where necessary, ensuring an integrated, precision‑tailored approach. Drawing on coaching psychology, neuroscience, health sciences, and behaviour‑change design, I ensure each engagement is comprehensive and deeply relevant to your unique needs.
